We kickstarted the year by delving into strategic planning to steer our course towards success. We outlined our goals, initiatives, and milestones for the year ahead. Essential topics ranged from company planning to upcoming events and the much-anticipated Compensation Season. 💼

Uvic Hi-Tech Career Fair

Once again, we participated in the Uvic Hi-Tech Fair and what a whirlwind it was! 🎉 We had a jam-packed day meeting countless outstanding students! The enthusiasm and energy they brought were truly inspiring! 💼✨

The level of engagement from the students was off the charts – not only in terms of sheer numbers but also in their genuine interest in our company and the gaming industry as a whole. 🕹️ The passion to work in games was palpable, and it was incredibly refreshing to witness. 🌟

We were thoroughly impressed by how articulate and professional the students were in their interactions with us. 🎓🤝 It's evident that they are well-prepared and eager to make their mark in the tech world.

🤖 At our fall summit, we hosted an AI Hackathon that sparked a wave of questions about AI, its potential, and the fears surrounding it. 🚀

Based on the feedback about the event, we decided to host a Directors Q&A to delve deeper into the intricacies of AI, addressing concerns, and exploring the possibilities. 🌐🤔

The Q&A generated thoughtful discussions, shedding light on the future of AI and its impact on society. 🌎✨ We were grateful to our team members for so actively engaging in such important conversations and were willing to be so open about some of the anticipated fears.
